Metawerx - Demonstrations featuring Java Applets, Servlets, scripting and client/server

software development

One of our most recent developments is the Metawerx Workflow System (MAPP), a Java development framework which we use for a number of different purposes, both internally and when developing applications for clients. Our secure payments page and the Metawerx Tomcat Realms Administrator tool use this system.
The Metawerx Tomcat Realms Administrator is a tool used by our hosting clients to provide data for the JDBC Authentication Realm installed in all Metawerx shared VM's. This makes it easier to restrict access to areas of their site using the Security Realms feature of web.xml.

MWChat - Our Java Chat software is the power behind a chat called Anime Cap X, which has had 70-140 users gathered each day at peak time (1200 logins per day average). Login to chat. A stand-alone java application runs the server-side component and two separate applets are used for the client-side.
SiteWinder - Customer hosting accounts are managed by our site maintenance/administration software, see the SiteWinder Demo for a look inside. SiteWinder includes File access, Account reports, Mail administration, Servlet administration and Database administration as well as access to our customer resources and FAQ.
MWMail - MetawerxMail, developed in-house, to provides online administration of customer email accounts and advanced email features. Metawerx Mail has processed over 7.4 million emails to date and rejected over 8 million emails, for over 900 customers domains (May 2007).
JBCF - Our JBCF bridge software is no longer available. This was a Type-3 JDBC driver which used Cold Fusion as a layer between JDBC and the database, to allow any Cold-Fusion database to be used by Java. In 1998-1999, this was fairly useful, but soon became redundant as Type-4 drivers started to appear for all the popular databases.
